This idea takes shape in the garments through layered construction techniques that mirror the complexity and interconnectedness of natural ecosystems. Linear elements in the gowns reflect the foundational structures of nature, the base upon which all living systems evolve. Despite comprising diverse components—felting, scraps, floral appliqués—each garment remains unified through material continuity. Flower appliqués and embellishments are crafted from the same scrap fabrics used in the reclaims, representing nature’s resilience in transforming its own remnants into new forms.
